Our Top 9 Recovery Podcasts

In the last few years podcasts and podcast listening has grown exponentially. Still, less than half the adult population listens to podcasts. Part of the reason may be that most people don’t understand how many podcasts there actually are and what a wide range of topics they cover. When it comes to recovery, there is no shortage of podcasts out there.

These podcasts are not only great for people in recovery, but also for those with family members who struggle with substance use, as well as individuals who are interested in exploring recovery because they think they might have a problem. Podcasts are also a great resource for professionals in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. Though these are our picks, there are many other recovery-themed podcasts out there. The Rich Roll Podcast

In 2008 and 2009, Rich Roll became known for being a top finisher of the Ultraman World Championship in Hawaii, but little was known of his backstory, particularly his battle with alcoholism. Since then, he’s become even more known for his podcast “The Rich Roll Podcast”, which launched in 2014. Now with over 600 episodes, the podcast is a treasure-trove of wisdom, insight, and informative conversations about recovery and wellness.
