Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Safety Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, assets, and individuals, while also providing local transportation services for clients in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will have a background in security, as well as experience transporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol premises to ensure the safety and security of the site, employees, clients, and visitors.
- Conduct regular security checks on entrances and exits
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports of incidents, activities, and security concerns.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
- Safely transport clients locally to and from destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to crisis situations
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while interacting with clients.
- Assist in any other security-related tasks as needed, including the monitoring of emergency exits and special events.
- Maintain necessary documentation related to pre and post trip logs.
- Stay informed of any changes in security procedures, local traffic laws, or safety regulations.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or security certifications preferred.
- Experience in a security role preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with client transportation is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, and team members.
- Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations.
- Ability to work weekends, and holidays. 3-4 days a week 7:00pm– 7:00AM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 – $18.00 per hour
