Job Description: 3PM and Later (Availability)
Provides safe and timely transportation for clients. The driver will be responsible for transporting clients to and from the
facility, as well as to medical appointments and other approved destinations, while ensuring a secure and supportive
environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor toward clients, visitors, and co-workers at all times.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transport, including assisting individuals as needed.
• Conduct daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep vehicles clean, orderly, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow all traffic laws and facility transportation policies to ensure safe operation.
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, including securing seatbelts or other safety restraints when
necessary.
• Lift and transport items up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Communicate effectively with facility staff regarding transportation schedules, client needs, and any incidents during
transport.
Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check.
• Physically capable of stepping up and down stairs and assisting clients safely.
• Strong ability to work independently while following transportation protocols and schedules.
• Previous experience in a transportation or client-support role is preferred but not required.
